In November this year, China's overall rail freight volume totaled 317.57 million mt, up by 9.96 million mt or 2.8 percent year on year, with the year-on-year growth rate down 4.6 percentage points compared to that recorded in October this year, as announced by China Railway Corporation (CR).
Accordingly, the average daily rail freight volume in China in November amounted to 11.252 million mt, up 23,000 mt or 0.2 percent month on month, seeing a fourth consecutive month-on-month rise and hitting a new record high for the current year.
